Taylor Knox is the lead guitarist Decade80. A Delaware native, Taylor’s musical path began with a Fender Stratocaster and a rigorous education under local legend John Clifton at Millsboro Music. His early versatility as a multi-instrumentalist—playing trumpet and bass drum in school ensembles—earned him the titles of "Best Musician" and "Most Likely to be a Rock Star" in his senior year. Taylor further refined his craft at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he immersed himself in advanced ear training and performance. Today, he is recognized for his technical fluidity and mastery of the era's signature "crunchy" guitar tones, providing the melodic engine that drives the band’s high-energy sets.
